Sand Drawings the flight of diarmuid & Grainne
The flight of Diarmuid & Grainne, depicted in sand drawings, was led by Jackie McKenna along with seven other professional sculptors. They were assisted by community volunteers. Together, they built the giant-scale sand relief on Sligo’s Streedagh Beach in August 2020.
